Guinevere beck books6/24/2023 ![]() ![]() How someone could say it makes no sense that a obsessive man like Joe would be head over heels for her is beyond me. Just because you don't think Beck is attractive doesn't mean others won't, and doesn't mean Joe won't.Īlso no exaggeration: I think Elizabeth Lail is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Secondly, the idea that Beck is average looking can't be used to make any judgements on Joe's character. I saw her on Once Upon A Time and looked into her and found her Wikipedia page. And I really think this argument needs to stop being used.įirstly, I think Guinevere Beck and Elizabeth Lail are beautiful. So one argument that commonly gets made is "Beck was average looking! Why was Joe obsessed with her?! It makes no sense!". We Contain Multitudes by Sarah Henstra6/23/2023 ![]() ![]() My review would probably by 5 stars if it was not for the lack of warning. It is immensely damaging to people with these triggers and it not like they are uncommon triggers. This is the only reason I have rated it so low. ![]() Due to the break, finishing the book made me feel unaccomplished and generally pointless. This caused me to go on a few months long break before the final chapter. That's normally fine however this book has no trigger warning anywhere to be found and so, when it suddenly shows up it can be immensely triggering for people! And it was!! Every time I tried to listen I would be in turmoil as I felt the need to read it because I enjoyed the story but there was slowly more and more triggering content that I was not warned about. The story contains many many instance of hate crimes and physical abuse from a parental figure and PTSD. However, I have a huge complain with a large amount of the story. The plot is well written, the representation is great and it I realistic. ![]()
