Here’s an example: “I stared into Jared’s eyes, and the strangest thing happened. It is super cheesy and super melodramatic. I feel like I’ve accidentally picked up a Harlequin romance. My biggest complaint with Stephenie Meyer is her romantic plots. It was very clearly a Stephenie Meyer book, though, which did lead to certain amounts of anger and eyes rolling nearly out of my head. I have seen a lot of people complain about how slow the beginning was, but I didn’t really notice. I have to say I really enjoyed it much more than the Twilight series. ![]() I originally had not planned on even reading this book because the Twilight series instills much rage within my soul, but I was in a dry spell for reading, so I decided to give it a try. ![]()
